Here’s a recipe for a Fourth of July cheesecake that will wow your guests and make your celebration unforgettable.

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar

For the Cheesecake:

  • 32 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream

For the Blueberry Topping:

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

For the Strawberry Topping:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the crust: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

  2. Make the cheesecake: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth. Beat in the flour and vanilla extract. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream until just combined. Pour the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust.

  3. Bake the cheesecake: Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set. Let the cheesecake cool completely before topping.

  4. Make the blueberry topping: In a small saucepan, combine the blueberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened.

  5. Make the strawberry topping: In a separate small saucepan, combine the strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened.

  6. Assemble the cheesecake: Spread the blueberry topping over half of the cheesecake. Spread the strawberry topping over the other half. Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.

Tips:

  • For a more intense blueberry flavor, use frozen blueberries.
  • To make the strawberry topping even sweeter, add a splash of strawberry liqueur.
  • If you don’t have a springform pan, you can bake the cheesecake in a regular 9-inch pie plate. Just be sure to trim the excess crust around the edges.
  • This cheesecake can be made up to 3 days in advance. Just store it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.

Celebrate the Fourth of July with this patriotic cheesecake that is sure to impress your guests. The rich and creamy cheesecake is adorned with the colors of the flag, making it the perfect dessert for this special holiday.
